How to download and install Microsoft Office

Installing Microsoft Office on a laptop is the same as installing it on a desktop or netbook. Some low-end or older laptops may have smaller hard drives, limiting the amount of data that can be written to the disc. In this scenario, you may configure a customized setup to load only the necessary apps or features to the laptop, therefore decreasing the amount of space Microsoft Office consumes on the hard drive.

For those who are unfamiliar, Microsoft Office Suite is a collection of office-related apps. Each app serves a distinct function and provides a distinctive service to its consumers.

Microsoft Office includes Microsoft Word, which is used to generate word documents. You will be given a copy of Microsoft PowerPoint, which is used to make presentations. Microsoft Office has seven productivity applications in total.
