You can connect your printer without the internet. With wi-fi direct and Hp Wireless Direct, you can create a connection.

On Printer:

  • Head to the printer's control panel.
  • Now, click on hp wireless Direct or wi-fi direct.
  • On the control panel,>> tap on the hp wireless direct icon or look for the Network setup/Wireless Settings menu.
  • Tap on wireless direct and turn on the connection.

On Computer/Mobile:

  • Just Connect to Wi-Fi Direct or HP Wireless Direct as you do for other wireless networks.
  • You’ll be asked for a WPA2 password if you’re using Wi-Fi Direct or HP Wireless Direct on security.
  • To test, on your computer, open a document or photo and click File>>Print.
  • On mobile, just tap Print from an app menu. 
  • In case the app doesn’t support printing, install the latest version of the HP Printer Service    Plugin application.
